Researchers from the European Union funded “Health Inc” project studied how social exclusion impedes promising health financing mechanisms in India, Ghana and Senegal to fully achieve their objective of enhancing equity in health. The outcome of the 3-year research project was presented during the conference “Towards equitable coverage and more inclusive social protection in health” at ITM. The project was a joint effort of researchers from ISSER (Ghana), IPH and TISS (India), CREPOS (Senegal), LSE (UK) and ITM.
